REUNION NEWS LETTER

In 1976 the remaining eight children of Engebret & Elise Jorgenson gathered the clan together on the family farm in southwest Minnesota. That marked the beginning of what has become a bi-annual “happening”.

Meals
We will NOT be sharing any dining halls with another adult group or a bunch of kids who do not know! This reunion we will be with family members of the Jorgenson Clan.   The majority of our meals will be catered and the staff will do the actual food preparation.  Those that arrive Friday afternoon and evening will have the opportunity to roast hot dogs over an open fire or indulge in snacks and sandwiches. The meals we will have at the Farm are Saturday's breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday brunch. Oh yes the cow tank with lots of pop or soda, for the east coast folks, will be on hand.

Important Items To Bring To The Farm
  1. Story's of days gone by and questions for the story tellers.
  2. Bug Spray
  3. Flash Lights - Trip to the hunted woods might be in order.
  4. The Farm is NOT an Alcohol Free environment.
  5. The Farm is NOT a smoke Free environment for you die hard smokers. There is NO designated smoking area. The traditional King Edward Cigars that Grandpa smoked are fine at the bonfires.
  6. Pets ARE allowed on the Farm.
  7. An attitude of fun.

Things are coming together for the reunion.  In a few days I will send out an updated list of attendees, directions to the farm, and other important items.

If there are changes regarding your attendance, including benches and new members, please let me know as soon as possible.

Equipment has been ordered (tables, chairs, tent, portable rest rooms etc.).  The caterer will need a head count by 15 May.  I need money from you folks now to cover deposits and initial purchases.  Please send a partial payment to me at ($60 per person):
